Every building on earth

You are a real estate trader

Buy a terraced house in Utrecht or the tallest tower in Dubai, both of them exist, both of them are on the map. Rent them out, do them up, sell them on. You run it all from an office you walk around in.

Your headquarters

You do not click through menus, you walk. Take the lift, step onto a floor and use the thing that stands there. A person is 1.80 m and a floor is 3 m, so the office is the size of a real one.

Real buildings, real prices

The map is OpenStreetMap, so the outline you buy is the outline that stands there. Floor area comes from the footprint and the number of storeys, and towers are not counted as if they kept their ground floor all the way up.

Trading with the others

A building that belongs to another trader is never simply for sale. You can look at it, you can offer for it, and the owner decides.

The marketplace

Only what a trader bought and then listed. Filter on country, kind and price, and see how far the asking price sits from the valuation. Buildings nobody ever bought are not here, they are on the map.

Offers and counters

Name a price on any building someone else owns, listed or not. Your money is set aside while the offer runs and comes straight back when it is turned down. The owner accepts, refuses, or names his own price and sends it back to you.

The exchange

4 kinds of fund, forty in all, each with four hundred days of price history from the day you arrive. Your order moves the price, the bigger the order the further it moves. Metals pay a dividend every month.

Everything you can do

Every part of the game has its own page, with pictures taken inside the game itself.

The board

Every trading house in the game on one list. It hangs in your reception and it updates while you play.

One economy

Every amount in the game is a booking. Rent comes in, maintenance and tax go out, a sale moves money from one trader to another. Nothing appears out of thin air.
